About IPC

Overview

IPC is a professional services consulting firm which partners with leading organizations in the corporate, civil-society and governmental sectors in Africa and works with them to realize their potential. Our core team and experts network has over 75 years of experience in Africa and around the world.  We deliver international-class consulting services in Africa using Africa’s brightest talent.

our vision

Our team

We believe that African organizations need the best talent in Africa to help them realize their potential.

We subscribe to the idea that the most brilliant, hardest working and most focussed individuals have the potential to be as much as 100x more effective and productive than ‘the usual’ and it is this talent that is part of our team.

We are frustrated by the fact that today, leading African organizations find it challenging to find the right skills to help them grow while countless brilliant young people aren‘t able to apply their skills to help corporates, non-profits and governments in their regions.

IPC will change this paradigm.

We recruit Africa‘s brightest talent. We work closely with our partners at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS), an award winning programme which seeks to enable the emergence of African Einsteins who can transform both African and global societies through their work.

This team is supported by an international experts network, each having deep and varied expertise in IPC‘s sectors of expertise.

We have an office in Berlin and are building a presence in Africa, starting with Nairobi and Lilongwe.

guiding principles

social impact

Excellence – we seek to deliver excellence, period.

Global networks with local talent – we believe that global knowledge needs a deep understanding of local contexts in order to be most applicable. This approach is not only more effective, but is also more sustainable and substantially more cost effective than international ‘fly-by‘ consultants.

Analytics and Research – We believe in the power of using comprehensive research to inform discussion, using data to support conclusions and using analytical and scientific approaches throughout to drive our work.

We see ourselves as a commercial social enterprise – to us, this means that we are committed not only to being a responsible business, but to being part of meaningful social change.

We achieve this in three ways
• We provide challenging, meaningful and technical work to young talent and provide this in Africa
• We support the growth of African organizations, believing that economic growth is a great driver of social change
• We donate a meaningful portion of our profits to support scholarships for talented young students in Africa
